Twenty works of the constructive avant-garde, 1915 to 1930. Every artist here died before 1945 and every work is in the public domain; a faithful photographic reproduction of a public-domain flat work carries no new copyright. Sources are Wikimedia Commons. They are not decoration: these are the paintings in which the rectangle stopped being a container.
